Temperature Signal Conditioner SEM1600T

The SEM1600T temperature signal conditioner accepts resistance or mV signals from RTD, slidewire, and thermocouple sensors, covering any resistive sensor between 10 and 10,500 Ohms including Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni, and Cu types, slidewire sensors up to 100k Ohms, and 13 different thermocouple types. Its output stage offers voltage, bipolar voltage, or active/passive current re-transmission, scalable over any part of the input process range.

Other sensor characteristics, or a user’s own 22-point linearisation profile, can be downloaded into the SEM1600T for slidewire, linear resistance, or mV applications, adapting it precisely to non-standard sensors. A high-efficiency switch-mode power supply is fitted as standard and requires no adjustment between AC or DC applications, accepting both 10-48VDC and 10-32VAC without configuration changes.

  • Universal Resistive/Thermocouple Input — Accepts RTD, slidewire, and thermocouple sensors from 10 to 10,500 Ohms, plus 13 thermocouple types.
  • 22-Point User Linearisation — Downloadable custom linearisation profile for slidewire, resistance, or mV sensors.
  • Flexible Output — Voltage, bipolar voltage, or active/passive current re-transmission output.
  • Universal AC/DC Power — Accepts 10-48VDC or 10-32VAC without any configuration change.
  • Sensor Offset & Output Alignment — Fine calibration tools for matching sensor readings to output.
  • Adjustable Input Filter — Reduces signal noise for cleaner process readings.

What sensors does the SEM1600T accept?

It accepts RTD, slidewire, or thermocouple sensors, covering resistances from 10 to 10,500 Ohms and 13 thermocouple types.

Can the SEM1600T be linearised for a non-standard sensor?

Yes, a user 22-point linearisation characteristic can be downloaded for slidewire, linear resistance, or mV sensors.

What power supply does the SEM1600T need?

It accepts either 10-48VDC or 10-32VAC via a high-efficiency switch-mode supply with no adjustment required.

What output options does the SEM1600T provide?

Voltage, bipolar voltage, or active/passive current re-transmission, scalable across the input range.
