Manual Call Points for Fire Safety

Manual call points (MCPs) let personnel trigger a fire or gas alarm by hand in classified hazardous areas. Daly Middle East supplies the Ex-Tech Signalling CP125, CP135 Ex and CP150 Ex, all ATEX and IECEx certified for use in explosive atmospheres.The CP125 has a stainless-steel enclosure for maximum corrosion resistance; the CP135 Ex and CP150 Ex use a UV- and corrosion-resistant GRP body, with the CP150 Ex offering the widest range of enclosure colours. All three share IP66 ingress protection, break-glass/test-key activation, on-off (NC/NO) or 4-20mA DC output for integration with PLC, ESD or DCS systems, and an operating range of -40C to +70C.When specifying an MCP, confirm the certificate reference against the project documentation (CP125: NEMKO 13ATEX1563X / IECEx NEM 13.0033X; CP135 Ex: NEMKO 13ATEX1568X / IECEx NEM 13.0038X; CP150 Ex: NEMKO 13ATEX1564X / IECEx NEM 13.0034X), plus the enclosure material, colour and output type.
