About Excen

Which Excen products are available through DALY?

The DALY range currently includes ATEX and IECEx photovoltaic modules, Ex d enclosures and certified battery solutions for hazardous-area applications.

Where are Excen solar modules intended to be used?

They are designed for hazardous-area power applications such as offshore platforms, refineries, chemical plants and remote industrial loads where certified equipment is required.

What power range is available for Excen hazardous-area solar modules?

The manufacturer publishes seven module formats from 30 W to 395 W. Final output, certification, temperature range and mechanical arrangement must be confirmed for the selected model.

What can an Excen solar module power?

Typical remote loads include lighting, sensors and communications. Multiple modules can also be engineered into larger solar systems or paired with suitable hybrid generation equipment.

What are Ex d enclosures used for?

Flameproof Ex d enclosures contain suitably designed electrical components while preventing an internal ignition from propagating into the surrounding hazardous atmosphere. Component layout and heat dissipation require engineering review.

What information is required to select an Excen battery or solar system?

Provide the hazardous zone, gas or dust group, temperature class, load profile, autonomy, voltage, charging source, ambient range, enclosure requirement and available installation area.
