About this category
Need ATEX linear LED lighting for a corridor, process area, catwalk, workshop or hazardous-area facility in the UAE or GCC? Daly Middle East supports contractors, consultants, EPC companies, maintenance teams and end users with explosion-proof linear LED lighting options for demanding industrial environments.
This category brings together fixed linear luminaires for applications where the area classification, equipment marking, certificate, temperature class, emergency requirement, mounting arrangement and environmental conditions must be checked before purchase. Product suitability remains model-specific, so review the exact datasheet and certification documentation for the proposed configuration.
For broader project support, visit the explosion proof lighting supplier UAE page or request technical lighting support.
ATEX linear LED lighting is fixed, elongated industrial lighting designed for a specified potentially explosive atmosphere. The linear format can be useful where a project needs continuous or evenly distributed illumination along corridors, access routes, production areas, workstations or process equipment, but the fitting must still be selected against the area classification and lighting design.
Explosion-proof linear LED lighting is not selected by appearance or wattage alone. Confirm the complete equipment marking, gas or dust group, temperature class, equipment protection level, ambient range, ingress protection, electrical details and conditions of use for the exact model and variant.
The final fitting and quantity should be selected with the lighting layout, target illuminance, mounting height, maintenance access and hazardous-area requirements considered together.
Provide the area dimensions, mounting height, orientation, ceiling or wall arrangement, corridor width, obstructions and maintenance-access restrictions. Linear fixtures may be mounted in different ways, and the proposed arrangement should be checked against the project drawing and installation method.
Use the approved hazardous-area drawing or project specification. Confirm whether the requirement relates to gas, vapour, mist or combustible dust and whether the area is Zone 0, Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 20, Zone 21 or Zone 22. A product suitable for one classified area is not automatically suitable for another.
Review the equipment group, category, gas or dust group, protection concept, temperature class, equipment protection level and any special conditions of use. If the project specifies ATEX, IECEx, UKEX, UL or another certification route, confirm that the documentation relates to the exact product, variant and configuration proposed.
Some linear LED products in this category are published with emergency-backup specifications. Confirm whether the project requires emergency operation, the required duration, testing arrangement, circuit configuration and local emergency-lighting requirements. Do not assume that every linear fixture in the category includes an emergency function.
Check permitted ambient temperature, maximum surface temperature, ingress protection, corrosion exposure, salt air, washdown, dust, chemicals, vibration, direct solar exposure and cable-entry requirements. IP protection is important for industrial lighting, but it does not replace the hazardous-area certification review.
Provide the target illuminance, workplane, fixture spacing, desired uniformity, glare considerations and any photometric requirements. Linear LED lighting can support even illumination, but the final number and position of fittings should follow the lighting layout rather than a simple fixture count.
Provide voltage, frequency, control method, cable entries, emergency requirements, access restrictions and the existing fitting information if this is a replacement project. These details help reduce unsuitable quotations and late changes during installation.
ATEX and IECEx are related but different certification systems. ATEX is the European Union legal framework for equipment and protective systems intended for potentially explosive atmospheres. IECEx is an international conformity-assessment scheme for equipment and services used in explosive atmospheres.
Some linear luminaires may carry more than one certification route or offer an emergency variant, but this must be verified for the exact model and configuration. For a UAE or GCC project, check the client, consultant, authority and destination-market requirements before finalising the fitting.

If any item is unknown, provide the project specification or hazardous-area drawing for review. Availability, lead time and delivery remain subject to the specific quotation and project requirements.
Daly Middle East supports UAE and GCC enquiries for hazardous-area linear LED lighting with application review, product-family guidance, technical information and quotation coordination. Depending on the project, the review may cover the zone, gas or dust group, temperature class, fixture length, mounting, emergency operation, light distribution, operating environment, datasheets and certification references.
The objective is a reviewable linear-lighting shortlist that fits the project inputs—not an unsupported claim that every product is suitable for every hazardous area.

ATEX linear LED lighting is fixed linear lighting intended for specified potentially explosive atmospheres. The exact fitting must match the area classification, complete equipment marking, certificate, temperature class, environment and lighting requirements.
It may be considered for corridors, catwalks, process areas, workshops, production buildings, offshore facilities, marine sites and other locations where the project requires linear illumination and Ex-rated equipment. Confirm the approved area classification before selection.
Some models include a published emergency-backup specification, while others do not. Confirm the exact product datasheet, emergency duration, circuit arrangement and project requirement before ordering.
Only when the exact product rating and certificate cover the proposed Zone 1 application and project requirement. A Zone 2 product is not automatically suitable for Zone 1.
Send the project location, zone, gas or dust group, temperature class, mounting height, fixture length, quantity, emergency requirement, voltage, environmental conditions, certification requirement and any available drawing or specification.
Daly Middle East supports UAE and GCC enquiries for ATEX, IECEx and hazardous-area linear LED lighting options. Product suitability, certification and availability are reviewed model by model against the project requirement.
