EXCEN ATEX generator sets are standardized power generation solutions fully compliant with ATEX Zone 2 requirements, available in capacities from 12.5 kVA to 160 kVA. Manufactured in Italy by EXCEN S.R.L. and certified to EU Directive 2014/34/EU, these explosion-proof gen-sets are designed for assembly in open frames, soundproof enclosures and heli-transport racks for offshore deployment. Each gen-set is manufactured in accordance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE. The performance of every unit and its individual components — engine, generator and electrical panel — is test-bench verified prior to delivery. Larger sizes and customized solutions based on specific project requirements are also available.
ATEX Marking and Classification
EXCEN ATEX generator sets are available as both Category 2G and 3G, Group IIA and IIB, for use in areas classified as Zone 1 and Zone 2 respectively.

Control Panel
The ATEX Zone 1 rated control panel provides comprehensive monitoring and control with the following functions: display and signal lamps, reset, manual mode, start/stop, auto mode, memory/test, program input and measurement selection, frequency adjustment, load MCB, internal/external battery charger, voltage adjustment, indicator lights test, emergency stop, and ON/OFF key switch with lock.
