The SEM1630 universal trip amplifier provides a dual relay switch function for RTD, thermocouple, mA, and mV signals, letting a single unit trigger alarms directly from almost any common process sensor. Each relay can be independently programmed as a high or low alarm, giving flexible protection for over-temperature, under-current, or other out-of-range conditions on critical process points.
Configuration is handled entirely through a front-panel USB port using free Status configuration software — the SEM1630 does not need to be wired to a power supply during setup, as it is powered directly via the USB connection from a PC. This makes bench configuration fast before installation, and the unit’s standard “top hat” DIN rail mounting keeps panel footprint to a minimum once commissioned.
