The SEM1750 dual channel signal conditioner accepts bipolar voltage or current process signals — -50 to +50V DC or -50 to +50mA — on two independent channels and isolates them to provide ranged industrial process outputs such as 0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-10V, or 1-5V DC. Both input and output channels can be loop-powered, and the unit can be used with any pressure, level, flow, or temperature transmitter that outputs a standard process signal.
Beyond simple isolation, the SEM1750 supports full input linearisation and user-selectable math functions between channels — including average and difference — or can be configured as an active signal splitter, feeding one input to two independent outputs. Configuration is via free Status "Speedlink" USB software, with a universal 20-250VDC / 22-240VAC power supply, and the unit does not need to be wired to power during configuration since it draws power from the USB connection.
