Smart Thermocouple Temperature Transmitter TTC200 / TTC200X

The TTC200 (and ATEX/IECEx/UKEX-approved TTC200X for hazardous areas) is a cost-effective “smart” in-head temperature transmitter accepting thermocouple and mV sensor inputs, converting the signal to a standard loop-powered 4-20mA output over a user-programmed range via a USB port driven configurator and free Status Speedlink software. As with its RTD counterpart the TTR200, linearisation correction data is loaded during configuration rather than stored permanently, meaning it can be updated at any time and custom sensors can be accommodated with a user-defined 22-point linearisation curve.

Isolation is a standard feature to overcome any potential ground loop effects, and a sensor referencing facility enables the transmitter to be calibrated to a particular sensor, with offset and span adjustable against a known reference temperature. If no range is specified at order the TTC200 ships defaulted to Type K thermocouple over 0-1000°C, and the ATEX-approved TTC200X requires a certified USB configuration cable in compliance with current legislation.

  • Thermocouple/mV Input — Accepts the most commonly used thermocouple types and millivolt signals.
  • Hazardous Area Version Available — TTC200X adds ATEX, IECEx, and UKEX approval.
  • Field-Updatable Linearisation — Linearisation data is loaded during configuration and can be updated at any time.
  • 22-Point Custom Linearisation — User-defined curves for mV or non-standard thermocouple applications.
  • USB Configuration — Configured via USB port driven configurator and free Speedlink software.
  • Sensor Referencing & Calibration — Offset and span can be matched to a known reference temperature.

What sensors does the TTC200 accept?

The most commonly used thermocouple types and mV signals.

Is a hazardous area version of the TTC200 available?

Yes, the TTC200X is ATEX, IECEx, and UKEX approved for hazardous area use.

Can the TTC200's linearisation be updated after installation?

Yes, linearisation data is loaded during configuration rather than fixed at manufacture, so it can be updated at any time.

What is the default range if none is specified?

The TTC200 ships set to Type K thermocouple, 0-1000°C, by default if no range is specified.
