The Style 5 fabricated flanged thermowell is designed for light to medium process conditions, featuring a parallel stem profile and available with a wide variety of flange sizes and ratings including RF (raised face), FF (flat face), and RTJ (ring type joint) configurations. A seal-welded flange option is available for applications requiring an additional level of leak integrity at the process connection.
The instrument connection can be specified with a BSPP, BSPT, or NPT thread for easy installation of an RTD or thermocouple temperature sensor, and the thermowell is available in 316 stainless steel, Alloy C276 (Hastelloy®), Alloy 400 (Monel®), or Alloy 600 (Inconel®). Optional 3.1 material certificates, pressure testing, and positive material identification (PMI) are available for full traceability.
