The Style 2 fabricated threaded thermowell features an integral compression fitting that allows for quick, easy installation of an RTD or thermocouple temperature sensor without a separate gland. It shares the same parallel stem profile and wide choice of process thread connections — BSPP, BSPT, or NPT — as the rest of the fabricated thermowell range, but adds an all-welded construction with a compression gland built in.
Available in 316 stainless steel, Alloy C276 (Hastelloy®), Alloy 400 (Monel®), or Alloy 600 (Inconel®), the Style 2 thermowell can be specified with optional 3.1 material certificates, pressure testing, and positive material identification (PMI). Its integral compression fitting makes it a convenient choice where the sensor needs to be quickly inserted, adjusted, or removed on site.
