The SEM1020 MKII isolating current loop booster restores drive capability to an existing 4-20mA current loop, requiring as little as 2.7V from the loop to operate. It is the ideal solution when additional field instruments or a longer cable run have reduced the available loop voltage below what downstream equipment needs, letting engineers add capacity without re-powering the entire loop.

The SEM1020 MKII provides full galvanic isolation between input and output alongside high stability and high accuracy performance, and like the rest of the Status SEM1000 series it is housed in a compact 12.5mm DIN-rail enclosure with front-panel calibration access. It typically requires a separate supply for the secondary loop side of the isolation barrier, making it well suited to process control, utilities, and industrial automation applications where loop voltage budget is tight.
