The PTX23 submersible pressure transmitter is built for use in aggressive media, with a stainless-steel piezoresistive sensing element protected by a PVDF outer housing designed to withstand immersion in most aggressive chemicals and waste water. The oil-filled assembly delivers a robust, high-accuracy 2-wire 4-20mA output and is supplied with a choice of PUR or PTFE cable to any required length, making it a proven choice for depth and level measurement in corrosive liquids.
A weighted option keeps the PTX23 correctly positioned in flowing or turbulent applications, and when paired with a Status SEM1600VI signal conditioner it can be linearised for non-linear shaped tanks, or with a SEM1636 loop-powered relay it can drive two independent alarm trips directly from the 4-20mA signal, extending its use well beyond a simple level sensor.
