Submersible Pressure Transmitter PTX20 Series

The PTX20 series submersible pressure transmitter is a high-quality water level transmitter delivering a 2-wire 4-20mA output over a wide range, with measurement spans from 0.5 mH2O to 250 mH2O available to order. A piezoresistive sensing element housed in an all-welded stainless steel body (titanium available on request for aggressive media) provides excellent accuracy and stability, while the oil-filled construction and high-accuracy electronics maintain performance even in high-temperature processes.

Open and closed versions are available depending on whether atmospheric venting is required, and a ballast weight option can be specified to keep the transmitter correctly positioned in flowing water. When paired with a Status SEM1600VI signal conditioner, the PTX20’s output can be linearised for non-linear shaped tanks, extending its use from simple level measurement to accurate volume monitoring.
