The SEM320 (and hazardous-area SEM320X) is a high-accuracy, HART-communicating universal temperature transmitter with a built-in LCD display, accepting RTD, thermocouple, potentiometer, or millivolt input signals and converting to a standard 4-20mA analogue output. The rotational five-digit display can be user-programmed to show the process value, a bar graph of the mA output percentage, or act as a 5-character message display for tag details, giving clear local indication in the field.
Housed in an IP66-rated industrial enclosure available in epoxy-coated aluminium or stainless steel cast-grade construction, the SEM320 is programmed using a communication lead with free USB-SpeedLink configuration software, and standard HART features can also be set via HART communication. SIL and hazardous area approvals are available, making it suitable for demanding field-mount temperature measurement across petrochemical, refining, and process industries.
