Universal Temperature Transmitter SEM210 / SEM210X

The SEM210 (and ATEX/IECEx-approved SEM210X for hazardous areas) is a universal, PC-programmable in-head temperature transmitter accepting 2 and 3-wire Pt100, thermocouple (Types K, J, N, E, T, R, and S), millivolt, and potentiometer sensor inputs, generating an industry-standard 4-20mA output. Because one transmitter handles multiple sensor types, engineers standardising on a single spare part can cover a wide range of applications without stocking separate models for each sensor type.

The output range and operating parameters are configured through free Status software over a standard USB lead, with galvanic isolation as standard to eliminate ground loop effects and a sensor referencing facility that calibrates the transmitter to a specific sensor for tighter overall system accuracy.
