The SEM203TC is a cost-effective, push-button configurable in-head transmitter that accepts common thermocouple sensor types and converts the reading over a configured range to a standard 4-20mA transmission signal — Status's most popular entry-level thermocouple transmitter. Configuration requires no PC: the user selects thermocouple type and burnout direction, chooses from fixed ranges, and trims the 4mA and 20mA output points using the front push buttons alone.
If the range is known in advance, Status can specify and ship the SEM203TC pre-configured at no extra cost; left unspecified, it defaults to Type K thermocouple over 0-1000°C. Sharing the compact 43mm diameter, 21mm height SEM200 series footprint with standard 33mm centre fixing holes, it fits most common electrical connection heads and can be ordered with any Status temperature probe as a complete assembly.
