  2. How much maintenance is required for the air filters? Maintenance varies by model, but general guidelines are:
    • Pre-Filters: Clean with soapy water monthly.
    • Static Filters: Replace every 3 months.
    • HEPA Filters: Replace every 12 months, depending on pollution levels.
    • NCCO Filters: Replace every 3-5 years.
  3. How loud are RHT's Air Treatment Systems? Noise levels depend on the model and fan speed, ranging from 30 to 58 decibels.
  4. I noticed a strange smell when I first used my RHT unit. Should I be concerned? No, this is normal. The initial catalytic oxidation process within the NCCO reactor can produce a temporary odor, which will dissipate with use.
  5. Do the ceiling-mounted units come with remote controls? Yes, they include a remote control for operation. Additionally, a separate remote for resetting filter life after replacement is provided to technical support engineers.
  6. What does ACH stand for? ACH stands for Air Changes per Hour, indicating how frequently the air purifier filters all the air in a given space per hour. For example, an ACH rating of 6 means the air is filtered six times per hour.
  7. What does CFM stand for? CFM stands for Cubic Feet per Minute, representing the volume of air moved through the unit per minute. A higher CFM indicates better air purification potential.
  8. What does CADR stand for? CADR stands for Clean Air Delivery Rate, measuring the volume of filtered air delivered by an air purifier. Higher CADR numbers indicate faster filtration.
  9. Is the CADR value a true reflection of an air purifier's performance? CADR tests performance over a short duration (up to 20 minutes) and may not reflect long-term efficiency or effectiveness in removing gases, chemicals, and odors.
  10. What is a HEPA filter made of, and how does it work? HEPA filters are composed of densely packed glass fibers that trap particles like pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and dust. Air passes through the filter, and clean air is circulated back into the room.
  11. Can NCCO technology remove smoke? Yes, NCCO technology is effective at removing smoke.
  12. Can NCCO technology kill bacteria and viruses? Yes, NCCO technology has proven effective in killing viruses and bacteria.
