The Style 6 solid drilled flanged thermowell is manufactured from solid bar-stock to ensure maximum strength and integrity, designed for applications involving high pressures and flow rates where a fabricated construction is not sufficient. It is available with either a parallel or tapered stem profile and a wide variety of flange sizes and ratings, including RF, FF, and RTJ configurations.
This style of thermowell can be supplied with a seal-welded or full-penetration welded flange, or machined as a one-piece forging for ultimate strength in the most demanding installations. The instrument connection can be specified with a BSPP, BSPT, or NPT thread, and the Style 6 thermowell is available in 316 stainless steel, Alloy C276 (Hastelloy®), Alloy 400 (Monel®), or Alloy 600 (Inconel®), with optional 3.1 material certificates, pressure testing, and PMI for full traceability.
