UL Certification
What Is UL Certification?
UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is an independent, globally recognised product safety certification. UL Listed equipment has been tested against UL’s safety standards for electrical and hazardous-area applications, and the mark is widely specified by operators and EPC contractors alongside IECEx and ATEX.
UL at Daly Middle East
Daly Middle East supplies UL-approved lighting and equipment from our manufacturer partners, supported by the same documentation package – certificates, datasheets and test reports – available for the IECEx and ATEX-certified ranges we distribute.

Frequently Asked Questions
UL is not typically mandatory across the GCC in the way IECEx or ATEX are, but it is frequently specified by international operators and EPC contractors as an additional or alternative safety benchmark.
Yes – many of the manufacturers we distribute hold UL alongside IECEx and ATEX certification, so a single product can meet multiple specification requirements.
