A visual warning system, called Status Lights, should be installed on installations where hazardous conditions for helicopters or occupants may exist. This system consists of flashing red lights visible to pilots from any approach direction and landing heading. The flashing red light indicates either “do not land, aerodrome not available for landing” or “move clear of landing area.” It should be automatically activated at appropriate hazard levels and manually activated by the HLO.
DALY MIDDLE EAST provides explosion-proof and industrial lighting for hazardous areas, fluid systems for high-pressure applications, instrumentation for monitoring and control, ultraviolet/ozone disinfection systems for water treatment, and safety and security products to ensure crew and rig well-being.
