The TTR200 (and ATEX/IECEx/UKEX-approved TTR200X for hazardous areas) is a cost-effective “smart” in-head temperature transmitter accepting RTD, slidewire, or resistance sensor inputs — including Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni, and Cu types — across 10 to 10,500 Ohms, plus slidewire and potentiometer inputs up to 100k Ohms. It converts the sensor signal to a standard loop-powered 4-20mA output over a user-programmed range, configured via a USB port driven configurator and free Status Speedlink software rather than fixed at manufacture.
A key advantage of the TTR200’s design is that linearisation correction data is loaded during configuration rather than stored permanently on the transmitter, meaning it can be updated at any time simply by reconfiguring the device — including custom sensors and user-defined 22-point linearisation curves for resistance, slidewire, or mV inputs. Sensor offset and output alignment calibration are available live against a connected PC, and if no range is specified at order the TTR200 ships defaulted to Pt100 0-100°C.
