The Style 4 solid drilled threaded thermowell is machined from solid bar stock for medium to heavy-duty process applications, offering greater strength than a fabricated equivalent where higher pressures or flow rates are involved. It is available with either a parallel or tapered stem profile and a wide variety of process thread connections to suit different installation requirements.
Supplied in 316 stainless steel, Alloy C276 (Hastelloy®), Alloy 400 (Monel®), or Alloy 600 (Inconel®), the Style 4 thermowell can be backed by wake frequency calculations to ASME PTC 19.3 TW-2016 to confirm its suitability for specific process conditions, along with optional 3.1 material certificates, pressure testing, and positive material identification (PMI) for full traceability and quality assurance.
