Potentiometer/Slidewire Transmitter SEM203W

The SEM203W is a push-button configurable in-head transmitter that accepts variable resistance sensors such as potentiometers and slidewires, converting their signal over a configured range to a standard 4-20mA transmission output. It shares the same simple, PC-free push-button configuration approach as the rest of the SEM200 series, letting the user select the desired range and trim the 4mA and 20mA output points directly on site.

The SEM203W is particularly useful for level, position, or displacement measurement applications using slidewire or potentiometric sensors, where a simple analogue resistance change needs converting to a standard process signal. Sharing the compact 43mm diameter, 21mm height footprint of the SEM200 series with standard 33mm centre fixing holes, it fits most common electrical connection heads and is a cost-effective option for safe-area applications.
