The SEM203P is a push-button configurable in-head temperature transmitter that accepts 2 or 3-wire Pt100 sensors and converts the reading over a configured range to a standard 4-20mA transmission signal. Because configuration is entirely push-button driven, no PC is required on site — the user selects the desired range and burnout direction and can trim both the 4mA and 20mA points directly against a simulated or reference temperature.
If the required range is already known, Status can specify and ship the SEM203P pre-configured at no extra cost, and if left unspecified it defaults to Pt100 0-100°C. As part of the Status SEM200 series it shares a compact 43mm diameter, 21mm height footprint with standard 33mm centre fixing holes, fitting most common electrical connection heads and making it a cost-effective, safe-area RTD transmitter for OEM and general process use.
